Start the day off with a trip to the iconic Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company for an inside look at one of California’s most iconic farmstead cheesemakers where you will enjoy a private cheese tasting hosted by your own personal cheese concierge. Relax on the charming patio of The Fork, the company’s Culinary & Educational Center, while enjoying breathtaking views of grazing cows on lush pastures overlooking Tomales Bay.  A member of the founding family will share the captivating history of this renowned dairy, offering a unique glimpse into the 66-year legacy of this women-owned, sustainable, and award-winning operation. This exclusive experience combines exquisite cheeses, stunning scenery, and a fascinating glimpse into the heart of Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Co.

We will then take a scenic trip to the Straus Home Ranch, a beautiful farm on Tomales Bay where you will enjoy a cheese tasting of the exceptional cheeses from Pennyroyal Farm. We will hear from Michael & Vivien Straus, co-owners of Straus Home Ranch and The Cheese Trail, about the history of their family farm, the California Cheese Trail, and learn more about dairy in the region. Finally, you will enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch and head to your final stop. 

Our final stop of the day will be the incredible Heidrun Meadery where you will experience an expertly guided tour of their production facility and learn how their unique sparkling mead is made; observe honey bees in action and explore Heidrun’s bee forage farmscape, all while enjoying a sampling of their wonderfully refreshing sparkling mead varietals. After the tour, enjoy a beautifully curated tasting of Sonoma County goat cheeses from the esteemed and iconic Laura Chenel.
