Begin your tour at Tomales Farmstead Creamery, a 160-acre former cow dairy that owners Tamara Hicks and David Jablons have lovingly restored. Now home to goats, sheep, and Tomales Farmstead Creamery, Toluma Farms will allow you to tour the organic pastures, meet the animals and their babies, and sample a variety of cheeses.

Then, journey to The Hog Island Oyster Farm in Marshall on Tomales Bay to learn about oysters, oyster farming, and the marine environment that fosters their growth.

Your next stop will be the historic Straus Home Ranch on the shores of Tomales Bay, with 166 acres of rolling hills and serene pastures. Vivien & Michael Straus (siblings) will lead a tour and share their family’s rich history.  The Straus Family Creamery (first organic dairy west of the Mississippi), the Marin Agricultural Land Trust (first agricultural land trust in the nation), and the Cheese Trail all have deep roots here. Enjoy lunch (provided by Valley Ford Creamery & Cafe) in their renovated 160-year-old barn.

Relax and enjoy the scenery on the 45-minute ride back to Sebastopol, where your final stop will be the family-owned Balletto Winery. Enjoy a tour of their estate vineyards and winery, followed by a tasting, before departing at the end of your tour. Tour participants will enjoy 20% discount on wine purchases the day of the tour.
