Start your day at Bohemian Creamery, one of Sonoma County’s most creative artisanal creameries. Bohemian Creamery offers a variety of goat, cow, sheep, and water buffalo milk cheeses. Take a guided tour of their cheesemaking facility and aging rooms, followed by a guided tasting through all the cheeses they produce while enjoying the view of Mount Saint Helena.

From there you will head to Gold Ridge Organic Farms to explore their organic farm with 70 acres of mixed olive trees plus 18 acres of apples and citrus. Experience their award-winning organic olive oils and farm goods.

Next you will head west to the Valley Ford Cheese & Creamery in the quaint village of Valley Ford. This exciting venture from Karen Bianchi-Moreda and her son Joe builds on her family’s storied 100-year dairy legacy in coastal California, marrying café and cheese ripening. Devour a delicious cheese-focused lunch at the café before enjoying a tour and focused tasting of Valley Ford cheeses, crafted with milk from Karen’s son Jim’s nearby herd of Jersey cows.

With a full belly it’s time to relax on the 20 minute ride back to Sebastopol for a visit to Wm.Cofield Cheesemakers, where you will see how proper British style cheese is made from start to finish — from the milk vats operating on site to the aging room to the packaging and shipping area. Following the tour, you will enjoy a sampling of their cheese on their picnic benches in front of the cheese shop.

Last but not least and a quick walk through The Barlow, to enjoy some local libations to round off the day.
