Veronique’s unique perspective as a blogger and opera/operetta performer allows her to share stories from both the cheesemaking and arts worlds, due to the creativity, entrepreneurship, and skill required by both.

She credits her law school graduation during a recession for her start in cheese blogging.  Veronique decided to pursue her passions and broaden her horizons, leading her to a cheesemonger position that sparked her interest in blogging. Although she worked in the legal field for a few years, she ultimately left to focus on sharing the stories of the specialty food and artisan communities through her blog.

Veronique is particularly drawn to stories of transition and entrepreneurship, inspired by her own career change and the courage and brilliance of the people she has encountered.
